About

Voskuyl Library is celebrating National Library Week by asking members of the Westmont community "What are your Five Favorite Books?"

Here's how it works:

  • For each participant, we will create an individual mini-poster based on each person's responses.

  • The posters are displayed both physically in the library and a few will be displayed on the library website.

  • The display is typically up for three weeks.

  • There are no criteria as to what type of book can be submitted (fiction, non-fiction, scholarly, popular, children's, etc.).

  • Anyone who is a member of the Westmont community (student, faculty, staff) is welcome to participate.

  • The poster is yours to keep after the display ends.

Interested in having a poster?  See the "How to Participate" box to the left. Check out the sample poster below.

How to Participate

To participate in this year's display, simply complete this participation form by Monday, April 7, 2014.

Here are a few things you should keep in mind:

  • Please note that we ask you to submit a photo of yourself for your poster by emailing it to researchhelp@westmont.edu. If you prefer not to have a photo, please indicate that on the form.
  • By submitting the form, you are granting permission for the poster to be displayed both in print and online during the applicable dates (typically around 3 weeks during April and May).
